Experience administering security within Oracle Health/Cerner Millennium environments. Knowledge of role-based access control (RBAC), user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access governance principles.
Experience managing user accounts, security roles, templates, positions, and organizational security structures within an electronic health record (EHR) system.
Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and lifecycle management processes.
Ability to analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve application access and security-related issues.
Experience supporting system upgrades, testing activities, and implementation projects.
Preferred skills and attributes for this role, including expected years of experience where applicable:
Experience in project management. Senior level skill set with 3-5 years working with Oracle Cerner EMR. 1-2 years' experience supporting Identity and Access Management.
Strong customer service background, ability to troubleshoot user access issues.
Primary responsibilities for this role:
Configure Cerner security domains, positions, roles, code values, and access templates.
Support implementation of new Cerner modules and integrated applications.
Participate in upgrades, testing, and validation of security impacts before production deployment.
Manage role-based access controls (RBAC), security templates, and security groups. Ensure users have appropriate access based on job responsibilities and the principle of least privilege.
