Our client, a well-established and highly respected corporate insurance agency, is seeking a customer-focused Property & Casualty Account Manager to join their growing team. This position plays a critical role in supporting one of the agency's top-producing sales professionals by delivering exceptional service to an established book of business.

Position SummaryThe Property & Casualty Account Manager serves as the primary customer service representative for a portfolio of personal and/or commercial insurance clients. Working closely with one of the agency's highest-performing producers, this individual will provide ongoing policy support, manage client requests, coordinate renewals, process policy changes, and ensure every customer receives a best-in-class service experience.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working directly with clients, building long-term relationships, and acting as the service backbone behind a successful sales operation.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding their Property & Casualty insurance policies.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by responding promptly to questions, coverage inquiries, billing concerns, and policy requests.
- Assist clients with policy changes, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, and certificate requests.
- Review existing coverage with customers to ensure policies continue to meet their evolving insurance needs.
- Work collaboratively with one of the agency's top sales professionals to provide seamless support throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Prepare and process policy documentation while maintaining accurate client records.
- Coordinate with insurance carriers to resolve policy issues, obtain underwriting approvals, and facilitate policy updates.
- Proactively communicate with clients regarding upcoming renewals, policy changes, and important deadlines.
- Identify opportunities for additional coverage while referring cross-selling opportunities to the producer.
- Maintain compliance with agency procedures and insurance regulations.
- Build strong, long-term relationships that promote customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License required OR willingness to obtain a P&C license within the first few months of employment.
- Previous experience in customer service, insurance, banking, financial services, or another client-facing professional environment preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for helping customers.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with producers and agency staff.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency management software is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Previous Property & Casualty insurance experience.
- Experience servicing personal lines and/or commercial lines policies.
- Knowledge of agency management systems such as Applied Epic, AMS
360, EZLynx, or similar platforms.
- Support one of the agency's most successful and established producers.
