Location: Saint Paul

Our client, a leading organization in the supply chain and logistics industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Operations Specialist to join their team. As a Supply Chain Operations Specialist, you will be an integral part of the operations department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

** Pay Rate:**  $23.00/hour

** Position Type:
** 3-Month Contract-to-Hire

** Shift:
** Monday - Friday; 8:00AM - 4:30PM

** What's the Job?*
* + Perform complex support tasks within the supply chain or operations, including analyzing operational reports and interfacing with carriers on requirements.

+ Ensure accuracy of documents and data processing, utilizing knowledge of customers, carriers, and procedures.

+ Identify operational or service concerns through data analysis and collaborate with relevant groups to resolve issues.

+ Track orders and shipments, including domestic and international operations, and assist with tracing as needed.

+ Prepare and analyze operational reports, presenting insights to team members and supervisors.

** What's Needed?*
* + HS/GED Completion.

+ Experience communicating with carriers - airline, shipping, truck & related carriers.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

+ Excellent communication skills to address complex customer and carrier inquiries.

+ Ability to work with databases, logs, and various software systems.

+ Knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures.

+ Ability to develop and maintain critical relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
