Supply Chain Functional Expert
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Functional Expert to play a key role in optimizing operations and maximizing the value of the Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) system. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of supply chain, from procurement and inventory management to logistics and transportation. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and cost savings, including leveraging Oracle Supply Chain export capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to identify and qualify new suppliers.
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Develop and maintain inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Forecast demand and plan production schedules to meet customer requirements.
- Manage logistics and transportation operations to ensure on-time delivery of goods.
- Leverage Oracle Supply Chain export functionality to extract and analyze data for improved decision-making.
- Develop and implement processes for exporting and importing supply chain data to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.
- Identify and implement new technologies and processes to improve supply chain efficiency, including automation and integration with other systems.
- Analyze supply chain data and report on key performance metrics.
- Develop and maintain a risk management plan for the supply chain.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth integration of the supply chain with other business processes.
- Lead and mentor team members responsible for supply chain operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management.
- Proven experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) applications, particularly demand planning, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Experience with exporting and importing data from Oracle SCM systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
- Experience with leading and mentoring team members.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) designation is a plus.
