Job SummarySenior Strategic Sourcing Analyst – Bayport, MN. This role leads sourcing projects for new door initiatives, collaborating with project teams, R&D, operations, supply chain, category leads, and finance. Candidates must be local to MN; relocation assistance or sponsorship is not provided.
Primary Responsibilities- Manage multiple new project development and continuous improvement projects simultaneously.
- Accountable for all sourcing activities and deliverables from inception to launch, ensuring internal functions and suppliers meet milestones.
- Partner with design engineering to simplify design, support new technology, and lead technical reviews with suppliers.
- Establish, gain approval, and own material cost targets for all supported projects.
- Drive supplier tooling budget and development schedule in line with project milestones.
- Work closely with sourcing category teams on bid list creation, supplier selection, and readiness for production.
- Serve as the subject‑matter expert of the Product Development Process related to Sourcing.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, business, engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in sourcing, product development, supply chain, or operations.
- Project management experience creating plans, managing schedules, adapting resources, and delivering results.
- Highly organized, able to resolve multiple concurrent issues independently.
- Local travel of less than 10% to other Andersen sites or supplier locations.
- Demonstrated success leading and motivating cross‑functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills at all organizational levels.
- Solid understanding of continuous improvement methodologies.
- Technical knowledge or prior fenestration product experience a plus.
