Location: Afton
We design and build retail store fixtures for leading brands — custom, project-based work that requires precise coordination between project management, design, engineering, overseas manufacturing, and import logistics to deliver on time and on spec. We are looking for a Global Supply Chain Project Manager to join our Sourcing & Procurement team to own that supply chain execution end-to-end, working in close coordination with our Project Managers.
You will work as a direct peer to our Project Managers (PM), serving as the supplier-facing counterpart to the customer-facing PM. Where the PM owns the customer relationship and project commitment, you own how the project gets sourced, manufactured, imported, and delivered through our global supply chain.
This role requires someone who thinks like a project manager but lives in the world of global sourcing — someone who can manage supplier relationships, translate project scope to vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners, navigate international logistics, and keep complex import projects on track across the full project lifecycle.
What You'll Own- Lead sourcing strategy and supplier selection for imported projects
- Evaluate supplier capability, capacity, and fit for each project
- Build and maintain strong factory and supplier relationships overseas
- Ensure clear communication and understanding of project scope
- Work closely with the Global Sourcing & Import Specialist on compliance, HTS codes, and import logistics
- Manage and mitigate import disruption risks
- Own outsourced production milestones from project kickoff through delivery
- Confirm suppliers understand engineering requirements; manage implementation of changes
- Monitor production schedules at overseas factories and intervene when at risk
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineering, Production, and Buyers to ensure supply chain readiness
- Identify and manage supplier capability risks, quality issues, and supply chain disruptions
- Protect project margins through effective sourcing and proactive risk mitigation
- Measure success through supplier performance, on-time delivery, material readiness, and sourcing effectiveness
Day to day, you're the person asking:
- Who is the best supplier for this project — and can they execute?
- Do they fully understand the requirements and scope?
- Are materials being produced on schedule?
- Have engineering changes been communicated and implemented?
- Will imports arrive when production needs them?
- What risks could impact delivery — and how do we get ahead of them?
You'll collaborate closely with teams across the business:
Internal: Sourcing & Procurement:
Buyers, Global Sourcing & Import Specialist. Project Management, Engineering, and Production
External: Overseas Factories, Logistics & Fulfillment Partners
What We're Looking For Experience & Background- 3–7 years of experience in global sourcing, import procurement, or international supply chain
- Proven track record managing suppliers and production at overseas factories
- Hands‑on experience with import logistics — freight, customs, documentation, compliance
- Experience working in a project-based or manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- Must be available for international travel 1–2 times per year for supplier and factory visits
- Project management mindset — you think in scope, schedule, budget, and risk mitigation
- Strong command of international sourcing — you know how to find, evaluate, and manage global suppliers
- Ability to manage complexity across multiple projects and suppliers simultaneously
- Clear communicator with both internal teams and overseas partners
- Comfortable with ambiguity; proactive in identifying and solving problems before they elevate
- High attention to detail on compliance, documentation, and logistics execution
- Familiarity with HTS codes, import compliance, and customs processes
- Experience with production scheduling coordination in an outsourced manufacturing environment
In this role, you're measured by:
- Supplier performance and execution quality
- On‑time…
