Planning and Distribution Manager

Agropur, a premier dairy cooperative based in Appleton, WI, seeks a Planning and Distribution Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain activities within our Supply Chain, Logistics & Procurement department. In this role, you will own demand, production, and distribution planning to ensure safe, fresh dairy products reach customers on time and at optimal cost. You will coordinate closely with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and logistics teams, leveraging ERP/MRP tools and data analysis to balance capacity, inventory, and service.

You will monitor KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with stringent food safety and quality standards. This position leads and develops a planning and distribution team while contributing to S&OP and long-term capacity planning in a collaborative culture focused on excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end demand, supply, and distribution planning for Agropur's dairy network.
• Develop and manage production and inventory plans to ensure service, freshness, and cost targets.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and logistics to align schedules and capacities.
• Optimize transportation, warehouse utilization, and route efficiency for on-time delivery.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze variances, and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements across the supply chain.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing planning and distribution team.
• Support S&OP, budgeting, and capacity planning initiatives with data-driven insights.
