Maintenance Technician- Night Shift

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting basic maintenance tasks, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting under supervision to ensure smooth operations of production equipment and facilities. This role starts at $27.00 per hour.

Essential Duties

Essential duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Conducts routine maintenance checks and assists with preventative maintenance on insulation production equipment.

2. Performs basic repairs under supervision (e.g., replace belts, fuses, or bearings).

3. Assists in equipment inspections, including RTO systems, chillers, and basic HVAC components.

4. Completes work orders and logs maintenance activities accurately using CMMS systems.

5. Monitors performance of machinery, reporting abnormalities or potential issues to senior team members.

6. Assists with maintenance of tools and parts inventory.

7. Maintains cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas.

8. Operates forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.

9. Follows all safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out protocols and PPE compliance.

* Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Product Compliance Policy.

* Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations and market demands.

* Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of Compliance Management System.

* Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

Education and Experience

* High School Diploma or equivalent.

* 2+ years of experience in mechanical or maintenance roles required.

* Mechanical Aptitude:
Basic understanding of mechanics, tools, and systems.

Ability to work effectively under supervision in a team-based environment.

* Problem-Solving:
Ability to identify minor issues and assist in troubleshooting.

Strong adherence to health and safety protocols.

Work Environment

* Frequent standing, lifting (30-50 lbs), climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces.

* Exposure to noise, heat, cold, and hazardous chemicals (e.g., butane, propane, methyl

formate)
