Grounds Keeping Supervisor in charge of site operations and management at Heron Lake-Okabena Grounds Program

Shift
:
Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm (40 Total Weekly Hours)

• You must be 18 years old.
• Have a Valid Driver's License & Reliable Vehicle
• For safety reasons, you must be able to speak English.
• A pre-employment criminal background check & drug screen is required.
• Able to lift up to 30lbs & be ok working outside with exposure to inclement weather and varying temperatures
• 1 - 2 years’ experience in commercial cleaning

As you might expect, cleaning is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you’ll be:

• Supervises and coordinates activities of associates including cleaning, safety and maintenance of the scope of work.
• Conducts building inspections to maintain a quality level that meets the customer’s and the company’s standards.
• During Winter Season:
  Shovel out entrances and bus shed at both schools.
• Complete some janitorial cleaning of hallways & special requests.
• Order & Pick Up Supplies from Vendors in surrounding Cities.
• Communicate with all School Staff.
