Facility Manager

Dashir has an opening for a facility manager to work with us at the Bold Public Schools. The ideal candidate will have good leadership and communication skills, be well-organized, and have a good mechanical aptitude. This role helps ensure the facilities are well maintained, safe, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors. Experience would be beneficial, but it is not required;

we will provide training and support to help the right person succeed.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate professionally with coworkers, teachers, and administration
• Ensure that the buildings are clean and safe for students, staff, and visitors
• Manage daily maintenance requests and the preventive maintenance program
• Manage the upkeep of equipment to meet health and safety standards
• Supervise all facilities staff and external contractors
• Keep complete and organized records

Skills:

• Effective communication skills
• Strong organizational skills

• Good mechanical aptitude
• Boiler license or ability to obtain one
