License/Certification Requirements: Valid MN Driver’s License, current insurance or be insurable.

Summary: Responsible for the daily administrative and operational functions of the Ahnji-Be-Mah-Diz Recovery Center. This position oversees non-clinical staff, including, ARC Technicians, Technician Leads, Security Leads, Security Guards, Cooks, Cook Supervisors, maintenance, and other support staff to ensure the facility operates safely, efficiently, and in accordance with organizational policies. Provides leadership for staffing, scheduling, facility operations, safety, compliance with operational policies, and quality customer service while supporting the clinical treatment team in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.

Education Requirements and

Experience:

  • Associates Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, Human Services, Organizational Leadership, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum three (3) years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Experience managing multiple departments or support staff preferred.
  • Experience in residential, healthcare, hospitality, corrections, tribal government, or human services operations preferred.
  • Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and administrative operations preferred.

  • Experience developing work schedules and managing staffing needs.
  • Knowledge of personnel management, coaching, and employee performance evaluations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic recordkeeping systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • CPR, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Narcan certifications (or willingness to obtain within the first 1 st year of employment).
  • Valid Minnesota Driver's License with current insurance or ability to be insured.
  • Understanding of and sensitivity to Native American culture.
  • Native American preference.
  • Pre-employment drug testing is required for all Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe safety sensitive positions.

Supervisory Duties:

  • Supervise ARC Lead Security/Security staff.
  • Supervise Maintenance and other support personnel as assigned.
  • Develop employee schedules and ensure adequate staffing coverage.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily administrative operations of the ARC facility.
  • Develop and manage work schedules for non-clinical staff.
  • Monitor employee attendance, leave requests, and payroll documentation.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and orderly residential environment.
  • Oversee facility safety, security procedures, and emergency preparedness.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure the facility is clean, functional, and well maintained.
  • Ensure kitchen operations meet sanitation and food safety standards.
  • Monitor inventory and coordinate purchasing of operational supplies.
  • Assist with budget preparation and monitor operational expenditures.
  • Ensure required operational documentation is completed accurately and timely.
  • Meet deadlines and prioritize workload.
  • Assist & develop, revise, and implement operational policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with clinical leadership to support resident needs while maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Attend required meetings, trainings, and committee assignments.
  • Provide leadership during emergency situations and coordinate operational response efforts.
  • Support community events and outreach activities as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.
  • Travel in and out of state as required.
  • Adhere to all Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe personnel policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 30 pounds or more and use proper body mechanics.
  • Be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work within an internal, non-smoking environment.
