Seeking a Machinist for a manufacturing facility in Two Harbors, MN to operate multi-axis CNC mills and lathes, perform setups, replace tooling, and close shop orders on a 2nd shift schedule. Role requires a high school or two-year diploma, experience with machined parts, CNC milling/turning knowledge, and basic precision measuring and computer skills. Position emphasizes safety, 5S housekeeping, competitive hourly pay, benefits after waiting period, and opportunities for growth.

Our client, manufacturing industry is seeking a Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machinist

Location: Two Harbors, MN

Pay Range: $

Shift: 2nd shift, 3:00 PM-1:30 AM, Monday-Thursday

What's the Job?

  • Operate multi-axis CNC Mills and Lathes to manufacture complex parts and tools.
  • Load raw materials, replace cutting tools, and follow setup procedures for CNC operations.
  • Provide feedback for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
  • Close shop orders and follow production schedules for timely part delivery.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including PPE use, and maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S standards.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or two-year diploma required.
  • Experience with machined parts.
  • Knowledge of CNC Milling and Turning Equipment operations.
  • Basic experience with precision measuring equipment, such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Comfortable with basic computer applications, including Windows and MS-Office.
