To get you started on the right foot, this position includes a required in-person training period at our Le Sueur, MN facility before transitioning to your permanent role in Randolph.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing our local operations, blending technical skill with a proactive mindset to ensure our new facility remains cutting-edge and efficient. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results while adhering to industry best practices and Cambria's high standards of excellence.

This position is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move materials and products within the raw material quartz processing facility. This role involves transporting materials to designated areas, supporting inventory operations, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Operate a forklift to transport raw materials, finished products, and other materials to designated areas within the facility.

* Load and unload materials from trucks and railcars, and stage them for processing or shipment.

* Conduct daily inspections of the forklift, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall condition, and perform basic maintenance tasks.

* Operate the forklift safely and efficiently, following all company procedures and safety regulations.

* Maintain clear communication with the Shift Supervisor and other team members to coordinate material movement and support production needs.

* Monitor material flow and ensure a smooth supply of materials to production areas.

* Maintain accurate records of materials transported and handled.

* Assist with general site clean-up and organization as needed.

* Adhere to all safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety meetings and training.

* Utilize barcode scanning systems to track and manage inventory movement, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in material handling and storage.

* Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or operational issues to the Shift Supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Valid driver's license and ability to obtain any required certifications for equipment operation (e.g., MSHA).

* Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to heavy equipment operation, material handling.

* Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

* Excellent hand-eye coordination, depth perception, and spatial awareness.

* Ability to perform pre-shift equipment checks and basic maintenance.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

* Ability to follow instructions in English, both written and verbal.

* Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

* Ability to acquire and retain all necessary safety certifications

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

High school diploma or GED

Experience:

2+ years of operating a forklift preferred

Physical Requirements:

* Work at varying heights, including on the rooftop of the buildings

* Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks

* Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises

* Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions

* Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift
