Manual Machinist

Location: Saint Paul

Join a well-established machining company in Minneapolis, MN as a manual machinist! This position offers steady hours, a clean and organized shop, and the opportunity to work with a wide variety of manual machines while producing high-quality parts.

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Wage: $27 - $40 per hour, depending on experience

Hours: Monday - Friday | 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Duties of the manual machinist:

• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and grinders
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T
• Measure and inspect parts to meet quality standards
• Set up manual mills and lathes, including chucks, tooling, attachments, and fixturing
• Work with metals including steel, brass, and aluminum

Requirements of the manual machinist:

• Degree or trade school certification in machining or related field
• Minimum 2 years of recent manual machining experience
• Proficient with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Knowledge of fluids, hydraulics, and tooling setup
• Pass background check, drug test, and E-Verify
