HiFyve is hiring a Sanitation Supervisor in the Food Production industry!
Salary: $80-95K/yr with 10% bonus
Shift: Monday - Friday, 6 AM - 4 PM
Location: Clara City, MN
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct team members on daily sanitation activities, including cleaning production equipment, facilities, and common areas.
- Develop and implement new sanitation procedures and updates to Master Sanitation (MSS) programs.
- Serve as main contact for external vendors related to sanitation, including Hydrite, pest control, and janitorial services.
- Provide oversight of the plant and warehouse pest control program.
- Lead environmental monitoring programs, corrective actions, and coordinate steps for the plant EMP programs.
- Manage validation/verification activities for equipment throughout the facility.
- Monitor sanitation procedures' effectiveness and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Complete GMP audits at the manufacturing facility and off-site warehouse.
- Inspect work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements (FDA, OSHA, etc.).
- Present Master Sanitation programs and audit corrective actions to external auditors and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor sanitation trends and provide updates to the Food Safety and Quality Team.
- Develop and update SSOPs and maintain associated training records.
- Participate in internal and external audits and inspections, providing documentation and support.
- Ensure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and HACCP standards.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, chemical usage, and sanitation activities.
- HACCP Certification, SQF Practitioner, PCQI preferred.
- Food grade manufacturing facility experience required.
- Previous supervisory/leadership experience.
- 3-5 years previous GMP experience.
- Strong knowledge of computer software applications.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
