Masking Specialist 2nd shift

Location: Minneapolis

Twin City Staffing is hiring a 2nd shift masking specialist in Blaine, MN to support a modern, climate-controlled manufacturing facility.

This hands-on position plays a key role in preparing parts for paint by protecting precision surfaces and ensuring high-quality finishes.

Location: Blaine, MN

Pay: $19 - $23/hr., (based on experience and shift)

Shift:

• 2nd shift | Monday-Thursday
• 3:30 pm - 2:00 am
• Flexible start times available, with the ability to work 30-40 hours per week

Duties of the masking specialist:

• Mask parts for painting based on work instructions and drawings
• Apply and remove protective materials to ensure clean finishes
• Inspect masked components to confirm accuracy prior to painting
• Follow established safety, quality, and production standards
• Assist with process improvement efforts and team support as needed
• Perform deburring, sanding, and grinding to remove burrs, sharp edges, or surface imperfections

Qualifications of the masking specialist:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in masking, finishing/deburring, assembly, or a manufacturing environment
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to stay focused during repetitive tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Familiarity with inspection tools used in manufacturing environments
• Willingness to learn new processes and techniques.
• This position involves access to information and equipment and is regulated under ITAR compliance
