About the Role

The CNC Punch Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by operating and maintaining CNC punching machines to produce precision metal components. This position requires a strong attention to detail to ensure that all parts meet exact specifications and quality standards. The operator will interpret technical drawings and programming instructions to set up and adjust machines accordingly. They will also be responsible for monitoring machine performance, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine maintenance to minimize downtime.

Ultimately, the CNC Punch Operator contributes to efficient production workflows and the delivery of high-quality products to customers.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience operating CNC punching or similar manufacturing machinery.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and blueprints.
  • Ability to perform precise measurements and quality inspections.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Formal training or certification in CNC machine operation or manufacturing technology.
  • Experience with programming CNC punching machines.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and compliance standards in manufacturing environments.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and machine interface navigation.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
  • Set up CNC punching machines according to job specifications and blueprints.
  • Load raw materials and ensure proper alignment for accurate punching operations.
  • Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or deviations from quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as necessary.
