Formulation Operator

Position: Formulation Operator-2
Location: Le Sueur

Job Description:

This position is responsible for manually and mechanically cleaning equipment on the Soft Line while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Scrape, chisel and brush all contact surfaces on Soft Line equipment to remove material

* Sweep, vacuum and remove all powder material from equipment, floors, pipes, etc.

* Maintain a strong understanding of the mechanical operation of the Soft Line

* Ability to be trained on equipment operation of the Soft Line (Production Operator)

* Perform Lockout Tagout

* Handle chemicals

* Keep work area clean and orderly

* Perform job duties safely as outlined in the Utility Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

* Additional duties as assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications:

* Ability to become certified in forklift and overhead crane operation

* Ability to become certified in Lockout Tagout

* Ability to become certified in Chemical Handling

* Basic computer skills

Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

Industrial work experience

Systems:
Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills

* Mechanically inclined

* Industrial work experience

* Ability to read and write in English to complete required documentation

Physical Requirements:

* Work in multiple areas of the line to properly clean equipment

* Push/pull loads with a pallet jack

* Lift up to 50 lbs.

* Push/pull 100 lbs.

* Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks

* Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria

* Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises

* Work in a non-climate controlled environment

* Climb in and out of equipment multiple times throughout shift

* Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift

* Bend over and kneel multiple times throughout shift

Task Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

* Steel toed boots

* Hearing Protection

* Safety glasses

* Respirator

* Latex gloves

* Knee pads

* Coveralls

* Respirator (employees who are required to wear a respirator must maintain a clean-shaven face in the area where the respirator seals to the skin.)

Cambria's starting hourly range for this position is $17.15 - $22.66. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
