Work ScheduleThis is a second‑shift position, scheduled Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
What you will be doing- Lead production teams to meet daily and weekly production plans while achieving Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) objectives.
- Ensure full compliance with FDA, GMP, and company quality system requirements. Promote a culture where compliance and patient safety are non‑negotiable.
- Drive safety performance by enforcing standards, leading incident investigations, completing reports, and actively supporting HSE initiatives.
- Conduct daily management meetings and maintain visual performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
- Own shift/area performance, ensuring production schedules are met through optimal use of labor, equipment, and materials.
- Champion 5S and standard work implementation to improve organization, efficiency, and workplace discipline.
- Collaborate with Quality to investigate internal and external defects, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Work cross‑functionally with Planning and Warehouse teams to improve flow, ensure on‑time delivery, and optimize inventory levels.
- Support Manufacturing Engineering initiatives to improve productivity, reduce cost, and enhance process capability.
- Lead rapid scaling of the production team to meet increasing demand. Own interviewing, hiring, and onboarding to build a high‑performing, quality‑driven workforce.
- Lead and develop team members through training plans, performance management, coaching, and structured development plans.
- Manage workforce planning including scheduling, overtime planning, attendance tracking, and performance evaluations.
- Address personnel matters proactively and professionally, including coaching, corrective action, and recommendations related to hiring, advancement, or termination.
- Provide hands‑on leadership on the production floor, troubleshooting operational issues and driving timely resolution of equipment, productivity, and quality concerns.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related fields strongly recommended.
- At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing operations environment within the medical device industry or other highly regulated industries.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic knowledge of operation finances, i.e., absorptions, variances, cost accounting, etc.
- Strong Excel spreadsheet skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
- Able to read and interpret engineering prints.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally across multiple disciplines.
- Ability to inform, convince, and persuade others to take action on key initiatives.
- Results‑oriented with a focus on process improvement.

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $74,250.00 – $ USD annually. Base pay will be based on multiple factors, including job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, geographic location, and internal equity.
