Schedule: Monday - Thursday, from 6: 00 am to 4: 30 pm
Position OverviewWe are currently hiring an Electronics Assembler / Soldering Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assembling, soldering, inspecting, and testing electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards in a clean and quality-focused production environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience with both through-hole and surface-mount soldering, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work with small components using microscopes and precision tools.
Responsibilities- Assemble electronic components, circuit boards, and subassemblies according to specifications
- Perform through-hole and SMT soldering using hand soldering equipment
- Install wiring, connectors, and electronic components
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot, repair, and rework defective assemblies when necessary
- Read and follow assembly instructions, schematics, and production documentation
- Adhere to IPC-A-610 workmanship standards and company quality procedures
- Use microscopes, magnifiers, and hand tools to complete precision assembly tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Support production goals while maintaining high-quality standards
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in electronics assembly and soldering required
- Experience with through-hole and/or surface-mount technology (SMT) soldering
- IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 certification preferred
- Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
- Ability to work with very small components under magnification
- Comfortable performing repetitive assembly work with a high level of accuracy
- Basic computer and documentation skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during the shift
