Material Handler

Position
The Material Handler safely loads, unloads, and moves various materials within designated areas using equipment like forklift and pallet jacks. They organize and distribute materials to ensure timely delivery to internal and external customers, maintaining a key role in providing the right items in the right quantities at the right time.
Responsibilities
- Read work orders to determine materials to be moved.
- Handle various materials, including raw materials and finished goods, using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and disperse parts promptly.
- Prepare products for shipping, including bundling materials and loading onto pallets.
- Ensure all quality and safety standards are met.
- GED/High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Basic computer skills, including manufacturing software and Microsoft Suite
- Proficient in basic mathematics and computation
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs. without assistance and in various body positions.
