Job Description
Join us as we grow! Our new Randolph, MN location is set to open its doors in early May 2026, and we are beginning the hiring process now. We will be reviewing applications and interviewing on a rolling basis, allowing us to adjust start dates to fit your schedule and business needs. To get you started on the right foot, this position may include an in‑person training period at our Le Sueur, MN facility.
We are excited to offer a $1,000 sign‑on bonus for this position, distributed based on your continued success with the team.
This position is responsible for performing laboratory tests and analyses on raw materials and intermediate products to ensure quality control and process optimization within the raw material quartz processing facility. The role involves collecting samples, preparing specimens, conducting tests, and documenting results accurately.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Collect samples of raw materials and intermediate products according to established sampling procedures.
- Communicate test results and ensure non‑conforming material is processed appropriately.
- Conduct laboratory tests and analyses, including but not limited to particle size analysis (e.g., sieve analysis, laser diffraction) and color analysis.
- Set up and maintain laboratory test equipment.
- Input raw material status into the Oracle computer system.
- Operate, clean, and maintain all equipment in the lab.
- Complete all paperwork in a timely manner and communicate any issues at shift transition.
- Keep the work area clean and orderly.
- Perform job duties safely as outlined in the Quality Control Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Complete additional duties as assigned by management.
- Ability to read and write in English to complete required documentation.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to acquire and retain all necessary safety certifications.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Statistical Process Control software, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills, basic math skills, industrial work experience, and strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tests and recording data.

- Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions.
- Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout the shift.
- Handle chemicals.
- Bend over multiple times throughout the shift.

- Latex gloves.
- Face shield.
- High‑visibility vest.
- Respirator (employees who are required to wear a respirator must maintain a clean‑shaven face in the area where the respirator seals to the skin).
Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $17.15 – $20.04. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location and are tailored to individual experience and education.
