Job Overview
Master Brand Cabinets is the leading manufacturer of residential cabinetry in North America. The Production Control Manager oversees Production Control, Production Scheduling, and Logistics for the Howard Lake operation, driving efficient flow and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Oversee all Bill of Materials processing functions, including daily processing and BOM maintenance of component-level details and machine file generations.
- Manage shop floor reporting, optimizations, and cut lists.
- Handle JIT reporting for Materials Buyers and BOM data for materials forecasting.
- Lead all production scheduling functions for Howard Lake.
- Manage capacity planning parameters to adhere to manufacturing constraints.
- Project the backlog and recommend production load adjustments.
- Monitor and maintain current customer lead times.
- Oversee inbound and outbound freight activity for Howard Lake and collaborate with Iowa operations on cross‑docking and back hauls.
- Create outbound freight routes and tender to preferred carriers while maintaining optimal cost.
- Reconcile freight invoices for approval and manage freight spend.
- Maintain relationships with outside carriers.
- Initiate continuous improvement opportunities within the area.
- Enforce company policies and procedures on a daily basis.
- Serve as backup for the supervisor when unavailable.

- 5+ years of supervisory experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience with SQL and/or Access tools strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with CAD/BOM and product pricing tools is preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing and/or supply chain highly preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for product and system-related issues.
- Leadership and communication skills with cross-functional collaboration.
- Attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset.
- Proactive problem-solver focused on enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Team player and brand ambassador committed to company growth.
Compensation Range: $82,.00 (Actual pay will vary based on qualifications and other factors).
