Mold Technician

Our site in Chaska is seeking a Mold Technician to join our team. The role involves hanging molds, performing barrel changes, and installing all auxiliary equipment for set‑ups.

The position primarily works 10PM–6AM, Monday‑Friday, and offers a clear path for career advancement within Entegris.

• Set up production runs in the press and maintain auxiliary equipment (single water units, Therma Lator, temperature controller, robot, and end‑of‑arm tooling).
• Perform press TPMs and remove molds for cleaning or repair analysis.
• Execute setup, shutdown, and barrel purge procedures and create job packets.
• Monitor molded parts for visual and dimensional conformity; take corrective action or escalations when necessary.
• Promote and implement continuous‑improvement tools (6‑S, Kaizen, etc.) to eliminate non‑value activities.
• Participate actively in continuous‑improvement activities and related initiatives.
• Complete miscellaneous tasks assigned in support of production goals.
• Perform additional duties as required.

• Must be 18years or older and eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• High‑school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5years of mechanical or injection‑molding setup experience preferred.
• Basic math, computer literacy, and accurate data entry skills; SAP experience preferred.
• Competency in using powered hand tools, fasteners, and measurement devices.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving and troubleshooting ability in mechanical or process‑based environments.
• Experience in Kaizen, 6‑S, or waste‑reduction initiatives.
• Ability to recognize and communicate quality defects and ensure parts meet specifications.
• Experience with injection mold setup preferred.
• Physical ability to kneel, crawl, crouch, and work in confined spaces during mold changes.
• Comfortable with standing and walking for entire shift; able to lift up to 60lbs.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Commitment to safety, adherence to procedures, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

• Hourly rate: $21–$27, based on experience; includes $1.25 shift differential.
• Sign‑on bonus of $3,000.
