Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities

* Preventative Maintenance:
Develop, schedule, and execute routine preventative maintenance across all production equipment and facility buildings.

* Equipment Repair:
Diagnose and perform essential repairs on production machinery to minimize downtime and maintain peak operating performance.

* Detailed Documentation:
Accurately log all maintenance activities, including dates, times, and specific actions taken, to maintain comprehensive facility records.

* Facility & Grounds Upkeep:
Manage exterior maintenance tasks, including general yard care and seasonal snow removal, to uphold a safe and orderly environment.

* Safety Compliance:
Operate all machinery and tools with strict adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and industry regulations.

Compensation

* The starting pay range for this position is $25 - $29 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.

Day Shift

* 6:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday
* must be willing to work flexible hours

Qualifications:

* Mechanical & Systems Aptitude:
Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, air systems, pneumatic controls, and electrical systems

* Electrical & Automation Proficiency:
Experience working with 12-24 volt wiring, along with experience in programming and troubleshooting PLCs

* Machining & Fabrication:
Hands-on experience and proficiency in welding, along with a solid working knowledge of CNC operations

* Blueprint & Schematic Reading:
Ability to accurately read and interpret technical blueprints and mechanical/electrical schematics

* Precision Measurement:
Proficient in using tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools

* Self-Driven & Organized:
Highly motivated with strong attention to detail and the foresight to proactively identify and resolve issues with minimal supervision
