We’re seeking a skilled Welder to join a stable, growing manufacturing team in the South Metro. This role focuses on custom stainless steel MIG welding for heavy‑duty equipment used in the fertilizer industry. If you prefer hands‑on, non‑repetitive fabrication work and take pride in craftsmanship, this is a strong opportunity.

You’ll fabricate rugged, custom equipment designed for demanding agricultural environments, including:

• Blenders and mixers
• Bucket elevators and conveyors
• Rotary drums
• Custom fertilizer bins and tanks

This is custom fabrication—not production‑line welding—so projects are varied and engaging.

• Perform stainless steel MIG welding on custom industrial equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Weld using .035–.045 flux‑core and hardwire MIG
• Weld 1/16” to 1/4” mild steel and stainless steel (pipe, sheet, plate, channel)
• Weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
• Complete custom welds in, on, and around tanks
• Maintain high standards for quality and safety

• Welding certification, diploma, or equivalent hands‑on MIG welding experience
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Stainless steel welding experience preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding positions
• Comfortable working in varied positions (bending, kneeling, crawling)

• Laid‑back, team‑oriented shop
• Strong focus on quality and craftsmanship—not production quotas
• Custom projects that change regularly, keeping the work interesting

This is a Permanent position based out of Belle Plaine, MN.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Belle Plaine, MN.
