Location: Kenyon

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable professional to support day-to-day production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring laser equipment to produce precision parts that meet quality, safety, and productivity standards. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and committed to delivering accurate results while working collaboratively with team members across production, quality, and maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate laser equipment according to work instructions, specifications, and production schedules.
  • Load materials, verify program settings, and monitor machine performance during production runs.
  • Inspect finished parts for accuracy, quality, and compliance with required dimensions and standards.
  • Make routine adjustments to equipment as needed to maintain product quality and efficient output.
  • Document production activity, material usage, and any quality concerns or equipment issues.
  • Perform basic cleaning, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance tasks to support safe and efficient operations.
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding workflow, defects, downtime, and production priorities.
  • Follow established safety procedures, quality guidelines, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience operating laser machinery or other manufacturing equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, blueprints, or technical specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn equipment operation and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Ability to use measuring tools and inspection equipment accurately.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials as required, and work in a production environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial setting.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Experience with computerized machine controls or production tracking systems.
