3rd Shift 11:15 PM to 7:15 AM (Sunday through Thursday)
Base hourly rate of $20 to $30 DOE
Additional 20% Shift Differential for this 3rd Shift position
Position SummaryThe Machinist‑B is primarily responsible for the following:
- Completing set‑ups and operating equipment to meet production requirements.
Note:
This job description is based on Value Stream specific criteria. The value stream for this position is in our 7 Axis Multus Cell.
- Complete setup of equipment in a timely and efficient manner to prepare for production runs.
- Follow established setup and operating processes/procedures, including tooling, fixtures, etc.
- Load/feed machine as required to produce finished product.
- Maintain production flow to meet established schedules.
- Perform first piece and/or in‑process inspection for dimensions of parts produced and maintain required documentation.
- Keep accurate records in ERP and other supporting documentation.
- Follow specifications and procedures for manufacturing, including production checklists, work orders, operator instructions, and setup notes.
- Recall CMM programs and correctly identify required fixturing referenced within.
- Operate CMM machines as required to produce finished product.
- Save and interpret reported data, ensuring integrity of recorded information.
- Achieve a classification of Independent or higher on all Class B competencies identified on the Machinist Competency Checklist HRF-02.29‑Orig.
- Education:
High School diploma, general education degree (GED), and/or trade school graduate preferred. - Experience:
3+ years in a manufacturing environment, setting up and operating manual and/or CNC equipment; or equivalent combinations of education and experience, or demonstrated ability to execute the Essential Functions. Internships and part‑time experience acceptable. - Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations:
