Position OverviewAs a Production Technician, you’ll report to the Production Manager or Supervisor. Your primary responsibilities will include packaging and inspecting finished products, setting up, operating, and troubleshooting packaging machinery, and ensuring that all production processes meet our high standards. You’ll be integral to maintaining an efficient production line, helping us deliver safe, high‑quality products to our customers. ShiftAvailability
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Key Responsibilities- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot filling and packaging machinery to maintain optimal production flow.
- Conduct thorough visual inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards and comply with cGMP regulations, addressing any issues immediately.
- Complete and maintain all necessary documentation related to production, including batch records and equipment logs, ensuring compliance with FDA and inventory policies.
- Perform and document routine cleaning of equipment and packaging areas, ensuring they are ready for production and adhere to our cleanliness standards.
- Assist in training new team members, sharing your knowledge to help them understand our processes and standards.
- Be open to cross‑training for other duties within the production area, fostering a versatile skill set.
- Wear a respirator when required, which necessitates a clean‑shaven face and passing a medical examination/fit testing.
- 0–2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Natural mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Ability to take directions and work collaboratively within a team.
- Capacity to lift 20–40 pounds frequently and maintain a fast‑paced work ethic.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong attention to detail and good documentation skills, with clear and legible handwriting.
- Good manual handling skills and hand‑eye coordination.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or food industry, especially in production settings.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with FDA compliant facilities and quality assurance processes.
- Mechanical or equipment training is advantageous.
- Experience in continuous improvement practices to enhance production efficiency.
- Leadership potential and abilities, with a drive to contribute positively to the team environment.
