Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift
City:
Wanamingo
Sunday – Thursday
10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Responsibilities- Follow and exemplify all safety and food safety rules, processes, policies and procedures.
- Perform all preventive maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot and repair all equipment in the facility, including but not limited to conveyors, fillers, labelers, can seamers, end cappers, automatic case packers, palletizers, shrink wrappers, stretch wrappers, and printers.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair powered industrial vehicles (PIVs) and 480‑volt 3‑phase, 208/230‑volt, 240‑volt and 120‑volt AC equipment.
- Automated system troubleshooting.
- Perform TIG and MIG welding; sanitary welding experience is a plus. Perform other hot works including oxy‑acetylene cutting.
- Machine lathes and end mills for machining tasks.
- Fabricate components as required.
- Install new equipment, including electrical hookup and configuration.
- Operate PIVs such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and articulating lifts.
- Use common hand and power tools.
- Record all work activities in the current CMMS (SAP); create work orders and track parts usage.
- Follow the daily work schedule; notify the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager if work is not completed.
- Work holidays and weekends as required to support site maintenance shutdowns.
- Learn new job‑related skills and attend required training on new equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop.
- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and a can‑do approach to problem solving.
- Two‑year associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, or Mechanical Technology and a minimum of two years of industrial maintenance experience; OR five years of combined education and experience.
- Collaborative leader who is a strong team player with solid interpersonal skills.
- Self‑starter who can work effectively with minimal supervision and who has good organizational and planning skills.
