The SR Team Lead is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Winnebago, MN, responsible for leading a production or operations team in a manufacturing environment. This position oversees daily workflow, delegates tasks, monitors productivity, and ensures products meet quality, safety, and on‑time delivery standards. The SR Team Lead coordinates staffing, trains and mentors team members, and supports continuous improvement initiatives in processes, tools, and work practices.
The role collaborates closely with supervisors, engineering, quality, and logistics to resolve issues, manage priorities, and maintain accurate documentation and production records. This position also supports performance feedback, fosters a positive and inclusive team culture, and upholds all company policies and safety procedures.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including team supervision, coaching, mentoring, and conflict resolution in a production or operations setting.
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities to prioritize work, coordinate schedules, and meet production deadlines.
- Experience with manufacturing or assembly processes, preferably in refrigeration, HVAC, metal fabrication, or related industrial environments.
- Solid understanding of quality control, safety standards, and continuous improvement practices (such as Lean, 5S, or similar methodologies).
- Effective communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication with team members, cross-functional partners, and management.
- Comfort using basic computer systems and production‑related software for scheduling, reporting, and documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret production drawings, work orders, and standard operating procedures, or willingness to learn.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training, certifications, or an associate’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Proven track record of reliability, problem‑solving, and accountability in previous roles.
- Physical ability to work on‑site in a manufacturing environment, including standing, lifting, and operating within established safety guidelines.
