Cutter Machine Operator

Our location in Le Center, Mn has an open position for Cutter Technician 6am-5pm Monday-Thursday Occ. Friday.

The position is responsible for operating all cutters (i.e. double cutters, auto cutters) and oversees manual operations, including dome products to ensure finished products reach quality standards. Position works on either a manual line or automated line as directed.

• Set up cutter or manual line according to product.
• Perform preoperational safety inspection (guarding, e-stops, safety devices)
• Perform changeovers and input settings into the inline cutters, outfeed conveyors and merge table
• Ensure product identity and keep track of lot numbers
• Ensure quality of cuts and final appearance of product prior to packaging (i.e. slice count, centered)
• Follow all good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
• Abide by all safety regulations

• Education requirement:
  High School Degree (GED) or equivalent experience
• Years of related working experience: 6 months to 1 year related experience
• Possess normal to excellent manual dexterity and motor skills
• Possess good eye-hand coordination

• Fast paced, working with manual and automated processes and equipment.
• Factory climate changes with the season and employee must dress accordingly.
• Chemical handling is required for production sanitation.
• The facility produces product that will require employees to work with allergens, including, but not limited to: milk, soy, wheat, egg, tree nuts and peanuts
