Responsibilities
- Setup and operate CNC machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Adjust machine settings to complete tasks according to specifications and production demands.
- Read and interpret machining instructions, job orders, and blueprints to determine dimensional specifications, sequences of operations, setups, and tool requirements.
- Operate various hand‑operated tools related to steel fabrication.
- Maintain equipment and perform daily inspections.
- Clean and maintain the workstation used in the production process.
- Conduct material handler duties as needed.
- Maintain regular, timely attendance to meet organizational needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Prior forklift and operator experience is a plus.
- Basic mathematics skills and ability to read a measuring tape.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently; forklift or crane to move items over 50 pounds.
- Ability to push or pull a cart with 80 pounds of force.
- Team oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to obtain and operate mobile equipment needed to perform essential functions.
Works in a plant/manufacturing environment that involves the use of industrial machinery and chemicals. Employee must be able to correctly wear and use any personal protective equipment (PPE) required at the location.
Compensation & BenefitsThe approximate pay range for this position is $19‑21 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid time off; 401(k) plan with company match, all starting on day one.
