Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate CNC machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks according to specifications and production demands.
• Read and interpret machining instructions, job orders, and blueprints to determine dimensional specifications, sequences of operations, setups, and tool requirements.
• Operate various hand‑operated tools related to steel fabrication.
• Maintain equipment and perform daily inspections.
• Clean and maintain the workstation used in the production process.
• Conduct material handler duties as needed.
• Maintain regular, timely attendance to meet organizational needs.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Prior forklift and operator experience is a plus.
• Basic mathematics skills and ability to read a measuring tape.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently; forklift or crane to move items over 50 pounds.
• Ability to push or pull a cart with 80 pounds of force.
• Team oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to obtain and operate mobile equipment needed to perform essential functions.

Works in a plant/manufacturing environment that involves the use of industrial machinery and chemicals. Employee must be able to correctly wear and use any personal protective equipment (PPE) required at the location.

The approximate pay range for this position is $19‑21 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid time off; 401(k) plan with company match, all starting on day one.
