Welder - 2nd Shift

Skilled Welder – Exciting opportunity at our Dodge Center, MN production facility.

• Starting Pay: $20.00 – $28.34 per hour based on experience
• Shift Differential: $2.00 per hour for 2nd shift only
• Pay increases every 6 months based on performance

• Heat and form metal parts and components using hand tools, torch, plasma cutter or other welding equipment; properly position material/parts to be welded and capable of welding all materials at the location
• Operate an overhead crane to maneuver parts safely into place; adjust welding current to correct configurations and accurately operate and read measuring devices
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures, rules, and 6S standards; follow all safe procedures in assembling and testing products in the assigned job function
• Train and work in various areas of production in response to production demands

• Passed weld test either through pre‑employment test or internal weld program
• Ability to start and run a welder
• Ability to perform job tasks within one station with little to no quality defects or guidance
• Willingness to learn to adjust own wire

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6 months of applicable position experience
• Understanding of quality defects within welded products
• Ability to read and use measuring devices
