EPTAM Precision Plastics is looking for a Machinist A (Lathe) - 3rd Shift to join our team in Northfield, NH.

Schedule

3rd Shift: 11:15 PM to 7:15 AM (Sunday through Thursday)

Additional 20% Shift Differential.

Position Summary

The Machinist A is primarily responsible for operating lathe equipment to meet production requirements, completing all setups, and ensuring quality of finished parts.

• Complete complex setups and program development for production runs.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally during NPI process to determine proper setup and operating procedures.
• Suggest tooling, fixtures, and other improvements to increase efficiency.
• Load and feed machine to produce finished product.
• Maintain production flow to meet established schedules.
• Perform first‑piece and in-process inspections and maintain documentation.
• Track production count and maintain accurate records in ERP.
• Follow specifications and procedures for manufacturing, including production checklists, work orders, operator instructions, and setup notes.
• Recall CMM programs and identify required fixturing referenced within.
• Operate CMM machines as required to produce finished product.
• Save and interpret reported CMM data, ensuring integrity of recorded information.

• Modify and adjust computer programs as directed by SGL or Programming.
• Identify quality problems in materials and take initiative to correct.
• Properly utilize evacuation system to minimize exposure to hazards.
• Provide accurate and complete turnover from shift to shift.
• Maintain good housekeeping, safe work ethics, and conduct oneself professionally.
• Properly handle all materials, parts, and equipment to prevent damage and loss of finished product.
• Represent the company during customer, internal, and ISO audits, as well as FDA inspections.
• Understand data sensitivity handled by systems under your control and protect it appropriately.

• High School diploma, GED, or trade school graduate preferred.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment, setting up and operating manual and/or CNC equipment. Equivalent combinations of education and experience accepted. Internships and part‑time experience acceptable.
• No required licenses, certifications, or registrations.
