Truss Builder – 1st Shift

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Truss Builder workers for a building materials manufacturing company in Wadena, MN. In this role, you’ll help assemble structural components used in construction while working in a hands-on, team-oriented environment. If you enjoy physical, fast-paced work and want consistent hours with weekly pay, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do as a Truss Builder:

Assemble wood components by placing parts in the correct position
Use tools to bolt, screw, clip, or fasten materials together
Cut materials to precise measurements using hand tools or machines
Inspect and remove defective products to maintain quality standards
Operate and tend machines used in assembly and fastening processes
Move between workstations based on production needs
Clean and maintain equipment and work areas following safety guidelines

What You Need to Bring to the Truss Builder Role:

Previous carpentry or construction experience is helpful but not required
High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent experience
Ability to read basic instructions and follow work direction
Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 80 lbs occasionally (with or without accommodations)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing tasks
Reliable transportation to the Wadena area
