General Laborer 1st Shift
In this role, you will support daily production operations by operating equipment, packaging and inspecting products, and ensuring quality and safety standards are consistently met. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean work area, following standard operating procedures, and assisting with sanitation and basic equipment tasks as needed. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a physically active environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or dairy processing is highly preferred.
- Basic math and measurement skills for production tasks.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, labels, and production documents.
- Experience with palletizing, packaging, or warehouse processes.
- Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.

Work Environment
This position is based in a food manufacturing (dairy) environment where employees may be exposed to varying temperatures, including cold and refrigerated areas. The role requires standing for extended periods and performing repetitive physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and reaching. Employees may regularly lift up to 50 pounds and work around moving machinery and production lines. All employees are required to follow GMPs and will be trained accordingly.
Jewelry is not permitted, and employees are provided with jackets, hair nets, and beard nets if necessary.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winthrop, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
