Material Handler
We are seeking motivated, dependable team members to assist with our seasonal agricultural harvest operations in Cohasset, Minnesota. This is a fast-paced, hands‑on position that requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
This role is expected to run throughout our August and September/early October harvest periods. Strong performers may be considered for future seasonal and long-term opportunities beginning again in June 2027 as operations expand.
Responsibilities- Assist with harvesting, handling, sorting, and processing agricultural products
- Follow all company procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Accurately complete assigned tasks within established timelines
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members
- Adhere to all security, compliance, and confidentiality requirements
- Perform additional harvest‑related duties as assigned
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
- Frequently bend, reach, kneel, crouch, and perform repetitive motions
- Lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Maintain productivity during extended harvest shifts and peak production periods
- Seasonal employment during August, September and October harvest periods
- Full‑time and part‑time schedules may be available starting in June 2027
- Overtime and weekend hours may be required during peak harvest operations
- Personal cell phone use is prohibited during active work periods except for emergencies or authorized business purposes.
- Phones may only be used in designated break areas during approved breaks.
- Employees must comply with all workplace safety, security, and operational policies.
- Must be at least 21 years of age if required by applicable state regulations
- Reliable transportation to and from the Cohasset work site
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attendance and punctuality record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior agricultural, harvest, production, manufacturing, warehouse, or outdoor labor experience is helpful but not required
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all required State of Minnesota fingerprinting, background check, and regulatory approval processes.
- Applicants may be ineligible for employment if they have been convicted of, pled guilty to, or are currently awaiting disposition of charges related to certain disqualifying felony offenses, including:
- Human trafficking
- Labor trafficking
- First- or second-degree non-cannabis controlled substance offenses
- Extortion
- Insider trading
