Lead, Assembly 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Direct and lead shift as directed by GFL—Facilitator and or supervisor, prepare work schedules and workflow to promote continuous improvements.
• Lead by example in all areas: attendance, attitude, efficiency, communication, productivity, housekeeping, safety, and commitment.
• Assign duties as directed by supervisor and examine department work for quality and neatness. Enforce conformance to work policies and procedures.
• Able to perform duties in the Assembly and Pre‑Assembly departments and assist others in training and support.
• Collect and record data and train other individuals in data collection, which may be used to assist quality control, identify scrap or aid in continuous improvement projects.
• Assist the GFL—Facilitator and or Department Supervisor in monitoring manpower, overtime, scrap, and expendables.
• Assist the GFL—Facilitator and or Department Supervisor in achieving departmental goals, both long‑term and ongoing daily goals.
• Offer feedback and recommendations for improvements to help fix problems that may occur in the Assembly/Pre‑Assembly area.
• Assist with housekeeping in the Assembly/Pre‑Assembly area and keep the immediate work area clean.
• Assist in taking inventory as necessary.
• Work overtime as business needs require.
• Perform other duties as assigned and directed.
• Comply with Strongwell guidelines, rules, and procedures as contained in the Employee Handbook and miscellaneous memos.
