Welder

As a welder, you will perform MIG welding on mild steel to produce products in a clean, organized industrial shop. You'll work from blueprints, prepare materials, and execute welds in multiple positions while maintaining high standards of accuracy and consistency.

• MIG welding on mild steel to fabricate and assemble components according to specifications
• Reading blueprints to determine weld locations, dimensions, and assembly requirements
• Preparing materials using fixtures, jigs, and positioning tools
• Operating manual wire-feed and automatic welding equipment with proper heat, arc, speed, and bead control
• Producing strong, consistent welds in all positions: flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead, and down
• Inspecting welds and assemblies to meet internal and industry quality standards
• Moving finished products within the shop, including forklift operation when trained
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Collaborating with team members to meet production goals and uphold quality expectations

This is a contract to hire position based out of Litchfield, MN.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $31.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
