We are looking for a detail-oriented, hands‑on Painter who takes genuine pride in transforming raw materials into beautifully finished, high‑quality products. As a Painter, you’ll play a key role in preparing and finishing metal components used in our production process. You’ll ensure every surface meets our quality standards through proper preparation, accurate paint application, and consistent attention to detail.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing clean, professional finishes.
- Surface Preparation
- Remove rust, spatter, oils, and cutting fluids through sanding, cleaning, and wiping down steel components.
- Paint Application
- Apply coatings to production parts and sub‑assemblies using proper techniques to achieve smooth, even finishes.
- Equipment Operation & Care
- Mix paints to correct specifications, set up and adjust spray equipment, and perform daily maintenance on painting tools and booths.
- Quality Assurance
- Mask off non‑paint areas, inspect completed work for defects such as runs or missed spots, and ensure all finishes meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized paint booth and complete required production and quality paperwork.
- The starting pay range for this position is $20-$24 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.
- Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Weekly paycheck
- Boot reimbursements up to $125
- Medical insurance - Covers 75% of premiums
- Dental and vision insurance
- 401K retirement account with 5% company match
- On the spot bonuses up to $100
- Experience in automotive or industrial painting preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Reliability and the ability to stay on schedule
- Ability to follow specifications and meet paint standards
