Working supervisory responsibility and coordination for overall plant maintenance, equipment repairs, fire protection system, monitor calibration, utility contractor scheduling, and buildings/grounds. Responsibility includes maintaining the safety program for the site. Responsible for maintenance inventory and parts ordering and preventative maintenance programs.
Essential Functions- High school education, vocational level training, or its equivalent involving skills such as electricity, mechanics, pipe fitting, building trades, and completion of site welding certification
- At least 5 years of prior maintenance experience in an industrial setting
- Possession of a Minnesota class 2B boilers license is required.
- Physical activity throughout the day such as lifting, pulling, reaching, stooping, balancing, walking, standing, repetitive motion, and moving objects up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to operate industrial machinery, work on a computer, and travel on specific assignments; work may involve entering areas with restricted or limited access.
- Operates a variety of hand-held power and mechanical tools as well as vehicles
- Works inside and outside
- Noise above ambient level, proximity to moving mechanical parts and will be required to wear appropriate safety equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, respirators, gloves, goggles, face shields, and other protective equipment as required by the specific job assignment.
