We are seeking a detail-driven and organized Production Scheduling Coordinator to support and manage the daily scheduling of Work Orders across key production areas. This role ensures smooth workflow, resolves schedule conflicts quickly, and keeps production teams aligned with due dates and delivery expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Order Scheduling & Resource Optimization: Manage the placement and scheduling of all Parts and Transfer Work Orders (WOs) into the Equipment and Crushing Branch Plants, adjusting work center assignments as needed to maximize resource efficiency.
- Capacity Planning Maintenance: Regularly review and update resource hours to ensure accurate schedules and effective capacity planning.
- Shop Floor Tracking & Production Updates: Monitor WO progress on the shop floor to guarantee timely execution, and actively provide the production teams with updates regarding due dates and on-time delivery requirements.
- Prompt Sales Communication: Quickly report any schedule conflicts as they arise and notify the Sales team of new order scheduling issues within a strict two-hour window.
- Meeting Participation & Strategic Alignment: Present updated production schedules during weekly planning meetings, and participate in daily "parts on time" meetings for both branch plants to align overall production and shipping priorities.
- The starting pay range for this position is $18-$22 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including skills, experience, and location.
- 6:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 11:00am Friday
