Direct Production Maintenance Mechanic 3rd Shift

Maintenance Mechanic - $28-$30hr - 1st and 3rd shift

Our client, a well-known American cosmetics company, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team!  The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment and machinery in the Production areas.

Pay Range: $28-$30hr

1st shift | Monday-Friday | 7:00am-3:30pm

3rd shift | Sunday-Thursday | 11:00pm-7:30am

What's the Job?

· Troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance (PM) on plant equipment and machinery.

· Work directly with employees to develop efficient, effective setups, changeovers and operation of equipment.

· Assist line personnel in troubleshooting mechanical issues.

· Maintains, installs, operates, sets up, and tests all types of plant equipment.

· Utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times and understand the concept and follow LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures.

What's Needed?

· Strong English ability - understanding, reading, writing and speaking

· Experience with automation applications in an industrial manufacturing setting.

· High School Diploma or its equivalent; and an associate degree in a related maintenance field

· Ability to stand and walk majority of an 8-hour shift

· Ability to perform physical movements (push and pull 40-pounds)
