Chaska, MN

Hours of the position:
Monday–Friday, 1st or 2nd shift

• Build new molds along with mold inserts for existing tooling.
• Repair molds to allow quick turnaround of issues as they arise within competency level.
• Maintain current and appropriate documentation in mold files; complete all job‑related documentation.
• Operate Tool Room equipment at a high level of competency (CNC mills, CNC EDMs, and CNC lathes).
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems related to mold cycling, mold function in the press, and miscellaneous tooling and fixtures.
• Assemble production molds, clean molds following standard procedures, and reassemble as required.
• Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• 2‑year degree in mold making or completion of a qualified apprenticeship program.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and perform math computations and computer data entry.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and stand during entire shift; perform repetitive pushing, sliding of mold plates and inserts; periodic repetitive hand, wrist, and grasping of objects for extended periods.
• Ability to visually detect quality defects.
• Willingness to work overtime and on‑call schedule as required.
