Westmor Industries is seeking a dependable Yard Equipment Operator to join our team. In this hands-on role, you'll help maintain an organized yard, safely operate material-handling equipment, and support production operations that contribute to the delivery of high-quality products. As a Yard Equipment Operator
, you will be responsible for organizing materials, loading and unloading freight, operating heavy equipment, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. This position plays a critical role in supporting daily yard and production operations.
- Safely handle and move outdoor materials and equipment to support production needs.
- Operate equipment including forklifts, yard cranes, overhead cranes, and pay loaders following all safety procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard, equipment, and work areas.
- Perform basic assembly activities and assist with production support tasks as needed.
- Level and grade yard areas to ensure proper organization and accessibility.
- Assist with final assembly processes and inspections when required.
- Load and unload inbound and outbound truck freight efficiently and safely.
- Complete assigned work according to established schedules and production requirements.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.
- The starting pay range for this position is $18 - $22 per hour.
- Final compensation is based on experience, skills, and location.
- 6:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday
- Weekly paycheck
- Boot reimbursements up to $125
- Medical insurance - Covers 75% of premiums

- Ability to read a tape measure, including 1/8", 1/16", and 1/32" increments.
- Ability to convert feet and inches accurately.
- Experience operating machinery and material-handling equipment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe equipment operation.
