Job TitleInventory Control Clerk
Responsibilities- Count and reconcile in-house inventory balances and off-site supplier inventory.
- Serve as internal production planner for manufactured items within the assigned location, including maintaining work orders, releasing work orders, production schedules, materials management, and rescheduling as needed.
- Research and determine causes of errors; communicate findings using corrective action forms.
- Conduct monthly bills of materials, backflush deductions, and location maintenance audits.
- Maintain end-of-life parts and disposition activities.
- Troubleshoot and rectify inventory issues that arise.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure timely and satisfactory results.
- Minimum:
Six (6) months of applicable experience or equivalent. - High School Diploma or GED (standout qualification).
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in shipping and receiving materials or products.
- Order picker/swing reach experience.
- Experience in a high-volume warehouse or related environment.
- Internal and external communication; ability to handle information accurately and confidentially.
- Ability to read and interpret basic safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to follow instructions.
- Physical demands:
Frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, hearing, talking; occasional climbing, driving, bending/kneeling; lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs; pushing/pulling up to 25 lbs. - Non-physical demands:
Analysis/Reasoning, communication, math, sustained mental activity, writing. - Environmental demands:
Occasional work alone, frequent task changes, dusty environments, temperature extremes, loud noises. - Work schedule:
Routine shift hours with occasional overtime, weekend work, or shift rotation.
