Chemical Technician I

Our client, a leader in the chemical manufacturing industry, is seeking a Chemical Technician I to join their dedicated team. As a Chemical Technician I, you will be an integral part of the Laboratory and Quality Assurance departments supporting research, development, and production processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate curiosity, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Eagan, MN

Pay Range: $20-23/hr

What's the Job?
  • Monitor product quality to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
  • Set up and conduct chemical experiments, tests, and analyses using techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, physical and chemical separation techniques, and microscopy.
  • Conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests to assist scientists in making qualitative and quantitative analyses of solids, liquids, and gaseous materials.
  • Compile and interpret results of tests and analyses to support research and manufacturing goals.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to chemists and engineers to facilitate smooth laboratory operations.
What's Needed?
  • Associate's degree in applied science or a related field is required; a Bachelor's degree in chemistry or biology is preferred.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
  • Basic knowledge of chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances, along with chemical processes and transformations.
  • Understanding of chemicals manufacturing processes, environmental impact, and safety protocols.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, with an eye for detail and a team-oriented mindset.
