Assembly Operators work in a fast-paced manufacturing production line environment and are responsible for preparing, building, or installing parts/components for state-of-the-art Central Boiler outdoor furnaces and Altoz outdoor power equipment. They perform a variety of tasks in an environment where safety is a top priority. Assemblers need to be willing to work on any production line depending on production schedules.
Responsibilities- Read work orders, blueprints, and follow detailed instructions to assemble and install parts/kits used in the production of outdoor stoves and outdoor power equipment
- Collect all material, equipment and tools needed for the work order
- Use handheld tools such as drills and a variety of torque tools according to work order requirements
- Troubleshoot, problem solve and elevate any production issues to Lead/Supervisor
- Report on issues, malfunctions or defective parts and enter appropriately in the system to generate non-conforming materials (NCM) documentation
- Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure final product meets Central Boiler’s and Altoz’ highest standards of quality
- Work safely with lift tables, ergo arms, and hoists
- Willing to assist other areas as assigned and needed
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment corresponding to departmental housekeeping standards
- Complete and pass forklift certification if required
- Perform all tasks with a safety mindset
- Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum/Essential Qualifications Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience- High School diploma, GED or relevant work experience
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Basic computer navigation and typing skills
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance, reporting to work on time and as scheduled
- Promote and follow all company safety guidelines and initiatives
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
- Work efficiently with the ability to prioritize daily workload
- Willingness to learn and help others
- Detail oriented and capable of carrying out a given task with a commitment to quality
- Motivated and flexible to work in any other area of the plant as needed
- Composed during stressful situations
- Represent the company in a professional friendly manner
- Support and encourage other team members
- Able to lift up to 55 lbs, using hoists for heavier parts, etc.
- Standing, sitting, squatting, walking, kneeling, stooping, crouching and reaching out to arm’s length and overhead
- Work safely around moving equipment, power tools, and industrial vehicles
- Repetitive use of upper extremities
- Previous Manufacturing experience helpful
starting at $20.00 – $22.00/hour with overtime available. These roles may also be eligible for prior experience, skill, licensure, and/or certification pay differentials that will be in addition to the starting pay rate.
