Turkey Store - Machine Operator, 1st Shift - Montevideo

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform machine, line set up/tear down, and changeover functions
• Work with coworkers to achieve and maintain production goals
• Ensure start up, break, and lunch sanitation procedures are preformed and satisfy GMP requirements
• Monitor status of product quality, productivity, yield, and scheduling issues
• Monitor and verify that production is in compliance with specifications
• Insure safety equipment is used, lockout/tagout procedures practiced, and job rotation procedures followed.
• Insure tear down and dry cleanup is completed at end of shift.
• Record and complete delay and production reports.

• Must understand and apply the concepts of the J-OTS Team Charter, Team Commitment, and Managing Principles
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work harmoniously with people
• Willing to accept responsibility
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve minor mechanical problems
• Willing to accept challenges and deal positively with adversity
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Work in cold environment, 32-40 degrees
• Ability to become lockout/tagout trained
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English and be able to communicate with management
